Trouble with WPE(Pro)

I recently downloaded WPE(Pro), but it seems to only work with a few programs.

It gathers dozens of packets from firefox, but when I try to use it with certain applications, it might take half an hour to gather three. Moreover, these packets are almost always received.
Within about an hour, it recorded two sent packets, while I must have sent hundreds.

And when I do manage to record sent packets, and resend them, it doesn't seem to have any effect.

What could cause WPE to miss packets like this?

It's a game server I thought I'd try programming.
But, that all seems a little trivial.

I just need to know what could cause it.
Like the anti-hack or something.

Doesn't matter how trivial the info seems, YOU'RE at your computer, WE'RE not, we need the info you need.

If you're trying to mess with a game, that could land you in jail/juvie, we're not going to help with it.

127.0.0.1 is the only thing that will connect, I'm not doing anything wrong.
Considering it works fine with everything else, it has nothing to do with my computer.
It's either the server or WPE that's erroneous.

I don't think I need context to know about WPE errors.

A lot of games and security related apps are getting wise to WPE and obfuscate the networking stack to mask themselves from it. Nowt you can do without a second machine.
